Good to know

Newly constructed rowhome with the original façade maintained. Entering through the front door is an open concept living room and kitchen area with plenty of natural light because of two skylights and a large sliding door to courtyard. The living room has a gray modern sofa (converts into a bed), sitting chair, and coffee table. The kitchen has a large eat-in island made from a restored wood work bench. The kitchen has a full refrigerator, oven, stove, microwave, dishwasher, and kitchen sink. It is equipped with silverware, plates, bowls, drinking glasses, wine glasses, french press coffee maker, pots and pans, baking pans, and various other kitchen items. Past the kitchen and through the large sliding door leads to an outdoor courtyard that is a shared exterior space. Beyond the courtyard is a separate studio suite where there may be other guests staying. The heating and AC units for each space are separate. The courtyard is the only shared space. On the second level upstairs is the bedroom. It is a loft space (no doors) with queen bed. Large windows overlook the courtyard that bring in a lot of natural light. Past the bedroom there is laundry closet, clothing closet, and private bathroom. The laundry closet contains a washer and dryer unit. The private bathroom has heated floors and a standing shower with skylight overhead to allow natural light in. This space is an art gallery! The works that are depicted on the walls in the profile photos MAY be different than what is presently in the space. If you are curious what we are showing, ask and we can direct you to the current works.

The neighborhood is ideal for leisure or business. We are between Fell's Point, Little Italy and Harbor East. The house is located on a main street and is right in front of a bus stop. There is a 24 hour gas station directly across the street. It constantly smells like fresh bread as H&S Bakery is a block away. Fell's Point is a charming, nautical, historic neighborhood right on the water. It has some of the best restaurants, bars, shops, live music venues, and a local acting theatre. Harbor East is a new fancy waterfront neighborhood that has Whole Foods (4 blocks away), Under Armour's flagship store, Landmark movie theatre, Marriott Waterfront Hotel ( 0.5 miles from), Starbucks, and a variety of restaurants and boutiques. Little Italy hosts various festivals and is a mixture of residential homes and restaurants.

Guest Access

You will access the space through the front door. The courtyard is shared with the other guests staying in the separate and private studio in-law-suite on the first level. The in-law-suite has its own entrance and your space is fully private.

Stayed at Keith's place for ~3 weeks for a business trip and it was amazing. The bnb was peaceful and very close to the water, amazing restaurants (Ekiben/Thames Oyster House/Little Donna's), bakeries (Overbird/Kneads), and fitness studios (Sedona House/Pilates House). Bathroom was big & clean. Overall, the whole bnb was very spacious. It was beautiful and sunny throughout my stay and I especially loved opening the shades in the bedroom to be able to see the blue sky on a weekend. The skylight windows were also another beautiful touch that really brought in light to the bnb. As a solo traveler, I did not feel unsafe in the neighborhood as the street is illuminated. Additionally, the street the bnb is located on is a busy street itself, so there will be people. Keith was very responsive when answering my questions and had great recommendations for the Labor Day long weekend. If ever back in Baltimore for work, will 100% try to stay at this place again.

I stayed here with a friend for Maryland’s annual Deathfest. We loved our stay here as it was walkable to the event location, and it was in close proximity to restaurants, shops, and the water. The space was quiet and comfortable. I really appreciated the art featured in the space; it is unlike any other BnB I’ve experienced. I will definitely come back to visit!
